Submitted: April 29, 2003

These books are recommended for children or adolescents with Aspergers syndrome. "Freaks, Geeks and Asperger Syndrome" was written by a 13 year old with Aspergers Syndrome. His experiences with Asperger's syndrome, written in a conversational and humorous style, can help and encourage adolescents with Aspergers Syndrome and their parents.

"Of Mice and Aliens" is a science fiction novel about an alien who crash lands on earth, knowing nothing of Earth culture, and the boys who try to help him. The hero of the story is Ben, a boy newly diagnosed with Aspergers syndrome.
